Allison Cloud Infrastructure 

Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by Allison Cloud Infrastructure (“ACI”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

By purchasing, accessing, or using any ACI service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Services Provided

ACI provides, but is not limited to:

  • Linux Shared Hosting
  • Email Hosting
  • Domain Registration
  • Domain Parking & Pointing
  • DNS Management
  • Website Hosting
  • Cloud Infrastructure Services
  • Related Digital Services

All services are subject to availability and may be modified, upgraded, or discontinued at our discretion.

3. Client Accounts

Clients are responsible for:

  • maintaining accurate account information
  • protecting account credentials
  • securing passwords and login access
  • all activity occurring under their account

ACI will not be held responsible for:

  • unauthorised access caused by weak passwords
  • credential sharing
  • client negligence
  • compromised client devices

4. Payments & Billing

All services are billed in:

South African Rand (ZAR)

Payments must be made:

  • monthly
  • annually
  • or according to the selected billing cycle

4.1 Due Date

All payments must be made on or before:

the 1st of each month

unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4.2 Late Payments

Failure to make payment by the due date may result in:

  • service suspension
  • restricted hosting access
  • disabled email functionality
  • website downtime
  • interruption of domain-related services

4.3 Reactivation Fee

Accounts suspended due to late or non-payment will require a:

R50 reactivation fee

before services are restored.

Reactivation will only occur once:

  • outstanding invoices are paid
  • reactivation fees are settled

4.4 Non-Payment

ACI reserves the right to:

  • suspend services
  • terminate services
  • remove hosted content
  • cancel unpaid orders

where invoices remain unpaid.

5. Refund Policy

Domains

Domain registrations, renewals, transfers, parking, and pointing services are:

non-refundable 

once processed.

Hosting Services

Refund requests for hosting services may be considered within:

7 days

of activation where applicable.

Refunds do NOT apply to:

  • domain registrations
  • setup fees
  • third-party services
  • software licensing
  • suspended or abused accounts

ACI reserves the right to deny refund requests where abuse, fraud, or policy violations are detected.

6. Domain Registration

Clients are responsible for:

  • ensuring domain spelling accuracy
  • verifying registration details
  • maintaining correct ownership/contact information

Domain registrations are subject to:

  • registry approval
  • domain availability
  • successful payment confirmation

ACI cannot guarantee domain availability until registration has been completed successfully.

7. Acceptable Use Policy

Clients may NOT use ACI services for:

  • illegal activities
  • phishing
  • malware distribution
  • spam
  • hacking attempts
  • copyright infringement
  • abusive or harmful content
  • cryptocurrency mining
  • excessive resource abuse
  • network attacks
  • unauthorised bulk email sending

ACI reserves the right to:

  • suspend accounts
  • terminate services
  • remove content
  • block access

without notice where abuse is detected.

8. Email Hosting Policy

Email hosting services are subject to:

  • storage limits
  • mailbox limits
  • anti-spam restrictions
  • fair usage policies

Bulk unsolicited email (“spam”) is strictly prohibited.

ACI may suspend outbound mail functionality where spam or abuse is detected.

9. Hosting Resource Usage

Shared hosting accounts must operate within reasonable resource usage.

ACI may limit or suspend accounts causing:

  • excessive CPU usage
  • memory abuse
  • database abuse
  • server instability
  • security risks

Dedicated or upgraded solutions may be recommended where necessary.

10. Service Availability

ACI strives to provide reliable uptime and infrastructure stability but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Services may be affected by:

  • maintenance
  • upgrades
  • hardware failures
  • third-party provider outages
  • power/network failures
  • force majeure events

ACI shall not be held liable for temporary downtime.

11. Backups

Clients remain fully responsible for maintaining their own backups.

While ACI may perform backups where applicable, we do not guarantee:

  • backup frequency
  • backup availability
  • backup recovery
  • data restoration success

Clients should always maintain independent backups.

12. Suspension & Termination

ACI reserves the right to suspend or terminate services for:

  • non-payment
  • abuse
  • fraud
  • policy violations
  • illegal activity
  • security threats
  • breach of these Terms

Suspended services may incur:

reactivation fees

before restoration.

Terminated services may result in permanent data deletion.

13. Limitation of Liability

ACI shall not be liable for:

  • data loss
  • financial loss
  • business interruption
  • indirect damages
  • loss of profits
  • third-party service failures

Clients use ACI services at their own risk.

Maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the affected service.

14. Third-Party Services

ACI may rely on third-party providers including:

  • domain registries
  • payment gateways
  • upstream hosting providers
  • network providers

ACI is not responsible for failures caused by third-party services outside our control.

15. Privacy & Data Protection

Client information is handled in accordance with:

  • applicable South African laws
  • POPIA principles
  • industry best practices

ACI does not sell customer data to third parties.

Client information may only be shared where legally required or necessary to provide services.

16. Changes To Terms

ACI reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Updated terms become effective immediately upon publication on our website.

Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of:

The Republic of South Africa

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
